Belair was founded in 1962 and has remained a local, family-run business for 64 years. Now in its second generation of ownership, the company continues to grow under the leadership of Debbie Risher, who joined the business after college and discovered a deep passion for helping homeowners feel comfortable in their homes.

Originally planning to pursue teaching, Debbie found an outlet for her passion with our HVAC company. She continues to teach every day by guiding customers through solutions, mentoring staff, and raising the bar for Maryland's HVAC industry. Debbie also made history as the first woman president of The Air Conditioning Contractors of America in Prince George's County, breaking new ground in a traditionally male-dominated field.

Over the years, Belair has earned numerous honors, including PG County's Small Business of the Year, The Capital Gazette's Best HVAC Contractor Award, and multiple recognitions from top brands such as Carrier, Goodman, and American Standard.

How We Give Back to Prince George's County

Giving back is at the heart of what we do. Belair proudly supports local organizations, including the Rotary Club, Bowie & Crofton Chambers of Commerce, Lions Club, Kiwanis, several theatre production companies, and various youth sports teams.
